NXT Champ Jacy Jayne Warns Main Roster Women's Division

WWE NXT women's champion Jacy Jayne stated in an interview that she feels ready for a main roster call-up and warned the Raw and SmackDown women's divisions. The New Jersey native, who has spent about five years on the NXT roster, said she would have struggled if promoted two or three years earlier. She now believes she can compete with anyone on the main roster.

Jayne captured the NXT women's title twice within a year, first defeating Stephanie Vaquer and then regaining it from Tatum Paxley. Her current reign has exceeded 135 days as she prepares for a triple-threat defense at Stand & Deliver against Kendal Grey and Lola Vice. She made brief main roster appearances on SmackDown in 2022 and in the women's Royal Rumble in January.

Jayne follows the path of Vaquer, who received a main roster call-up in the months after Stand & Deliver 2025. "I’ve been in NXT for about five years now," Jayne said. "I feel like if I got called up two or three years ago, it wouldn’t have ended well. I would have been gone by now."

Jayne defends her title Saturday night at Stand & Deliver in St. Louis at 7 p.m. ET on YouTube. "I feel now I’m ready," she said. "I know I can stand in the ring with anybody. I’m not intimidated. ... Whenever they decide I’m ready, I’m going to be there, and I’m gonna take a spot. And all of them should be ready."
